£25 for a haircut, beard shave/trim and facial in Upton Park — good value or too expensive? I tried this barber near Upton Park today. What do you normally pay around Green Street for the same service!?

This street is where my community is — where family and friends are, where we shop, eat, and meet each other without arranging to. And the street already knows things. Which shop has the best fruit this week. Where the road's closed on Saturday. Who does the best mishti when someone's visiting. It all lives in WhatsApp groups and it disappears. This is somewhere to put it. Not to make the street busier — to make it closer. So the people already here find each other a little more easily.
